This training focuses on the ethical, legal and practical aspects of using restraints in elder care. The training will guide caregivers on appropriate restraint use, prohibited practices and the importance of non-restrictive alternatives. The outcome of this training is: increased understanding of the appropriate use of restraints as well as alternatives to physical restraints in adult care settings.
